If I've not read the news in a while, rn will, of course, start telling me
that articles are "unavailable" (our spool disk isn't infinite!).  This seems
to get stuck, and for following newsgroups, articles which exist are claimed
to be "unavailable".

To avoid missing anything, as soon as rn says "unavailable" I start checking
for true availability by looking at the subject lines with '=' (it can find
them well enough), and if rn say's "unavailable" too quick, I quit, adjust
.newsrc, and start again.
