Lines: 30 [the main problem with reality, it that it takes too much time] Howdy, I've been having this problem with a propgadget. I want to do a hot-slider. You slide that sucker, and a number in a window dynamically updates. Simple, eh?. So I set every flag imaginable in the window and gadget fields. When I click in the prop-well (the box around the knob), I get the expected messages: "GADGETDOWN. GADGETUP, YOURFLYISOPEN, blah, blah, blah. . .". But, when I actually click on the knob itself, I only get a GADGETDOWN message when I RELEASE the button. But, sometimes, when I click on it again, while my window is still open, I'll get the proper messages. I first wrote this piece of code as a stand alone part-task, and it worked just jim-dandy, but breaks when I plug it into the Real Program.
