The repairman at my computer store says that the ssecond drive head failed and that it works fine as a single sided drive - but that does not do me much good. He called Commodore and found that a replacement would cost $160. This seems pretty steep. I seem to remember that within the last month or so, someone else posted this same problem, and at least one suggestion about a non-Commodore replacement for a much lower price was posted. If anyone has any advice or a copy of the original posted solution, would he please e-mail the information to me: (bitnet or arpanet) arxt@sphinx.uchicago.edu Thanks in advance.
