Maybe not.  I once had some code that stomped memory, produced lots
of pretty colors (aka FIREWORKS_MODE) then would ask for Kickstart.
I could get it to happen all the time.

It was a bug in my code which I got rid of eventually.  Now I wish I
still had it (the bug) around...
