This is just what I've been led to understand :by people who have received (for example) unsolicited magazine "trial :subscriptions". If somebody sends me something through normal mail without ME ordering it (i.e. out of the blue), there is no obligation on my part to return it. As far as trial subscriptions go, you need to ask for them... that is, fill in a card offering the trial subscription. If some magazine suddenly winds up in my mail without MY asking for it, I'm under no obligation to pay for it. I am almost positive the law is something to this effect, but even if it isn't it is quite obvious that the outcome of a court battle would be in my favor. -Matt
