Nope, the dealer is just trying to sell you a GS! (We wouldn't might it, though...):-) UniDisk 3.5's work just fine with a GS, especially since the "Unified" drive (I forget what the product name actual is) wasn't delivered in prototype form to me when I original got my GS. The only thing the new drive really gives you is the ability to also use it on a Macintosh. Also, I believe the list price is lower.
