  Michael Kirby asked about file formats for Appleworks.  In response,

  Open-Apple had articles explaining the Appleworks file formats for its
database files in March and June of 1987.  I suspect earlier issues may have
had the formats for the other modules.

  Mike -- If you want me to mail you copies of the relevant articles, let me
know.  Open-Apple permits copying at a charge of 15 cents per page.
