I have seen several Apple // systems running with transwarp. I'm envious. In
fact, It seemed to me that disk IO speed was even increased dramatically. The
problem is that there is no way to put any "known" accelerator  in a //C.
That's why so many of us got excited over the ZIPCHIP. I do believe that it
would be possible  to butcher a //C, removing several key parts and making room
to wire up some sort of Dr. Lizardo accelerator. This would not be practical
but it would be a great way to sell non-existent accelerators to us poor //C
lovers. Did anyone notice that ZipChip has been upgraded?  Nothing so blatant
as a claim, of course, but a new design on the chip in the ad and it is now the
4-C version.
