I have been using WordPerfect for over a year, it is robust, yet easy to
learn.  WordPerfect 5.0, due out eminently, will be close to a desktop
publishing system, yet I gather the same as using a word processor (it
will be compatible with WordPerfect 4.2, the current version).  I think
you can't go wrong with WordPerfect.
