Lines: 12 We're considering using a 386 PC as a "very smart" terminal to a Unix machine (e.g. an Alliant), but a serial line will be too slow for our application, so I'm looking for Ethernet hardware and software for the PC. We need TCP/IP support and we want to write our own terminal emulator so what we really want is a library of routines we can call from C to talk over the Ethernet. So far, I've talked to Novelle (sp?) but they mainly want to sell their LAN software for file transfers, etc. What's out there? (If you'll reply by mail, I'll summarize.) ...dartvax!creare!gda
