Somebody sent me some code a year or so ago that allows you to create sequential
env. variables, then concatenate them into a single, large PATH variable.  It
worked for me under limited testing; the author made no promises about
robustness or niceness.  Anyway, I'll send it to comp.binaries.ibm.pc tonight.
