For me, typeahead of about 16 characters just doesn't get it. I'd rather have a patch to DOS than a TSR program, since a TSR will take up more memory, and I've experienced slow-downs in some keyboard-intensive activities (read games). I can't remember how typeahead is set up in DOS. If it's allocated some memory for the keyboard buffer, then there should be a patch. However, if it stacks interrupts, this might not be possible to expand.
