Summary: super/sub-scripting a single char in WORD


To apply any standard format to a single char using the ALT-<x> method you
must zap the character twice--place the cursor on the char, press the Alt
key and then 'Shift +' for superscript, or '-' for subscript; then do it
AGAIN!  An alternate method is to press: Esc F(ormat) C(haracter). Then
tab down to the <Normal Super Sub> field, press your spacebar until
the appropriate item is selected, then press Enter.  Hope this helps.
