Steve, I have an old program called BUF160 which expands this limit to 160 keys. Don't know how it's implemented and don't care as I haven't experienced any problems such as you describe. If you don't get a better offer, send me some mail (but be wary of the 'R' command, I believe that there are numerous instances of non-reversable paths in posted articles).
