At first I thought it couldn't be the battery, as my computer is only about 6 months old. But by wiring in another battery in parallel, I was able to get the clock running again. This is a temperary fix, as I have not been able to figure out if there's a large current drain somewhere. I added a connector in there with a holder for AA batteries so I don't have to pay $20 for a replacement battery while I'm trying to work the bugs out. That may be the most economical (if not most troublesome) way to "solve" the problem. -- Yuan Chang UUCP: {ihnp4,uunet,ucbvax,dcdwest}!sdcsvax!nosc!uhccux!yuan ARPA: uhccux!yuan@nosc.MIL "Wouldn't you like to INTERNET: yuan@uhccux.UHCC.HAWAII.EDU be an _A_m_i_g_o_i_d too?!?"
