Paul: There is a neat application, MiniCad (I believe the current version is 3.02), which adds the "little details" without much trouble at all. "Little details" includes smooth arcs, line lengths automatically iserted at mid-line and the ability to save libraries of figures (very useful for the drafting application you requested).
