Message-ID: <8801122138.AA04420@decwrl.dec.com> Date: 12 Jan 88 21:38:01 GMT Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 31 Hello everyone, This is my first USENET posting, so please forgive me if I do anything wrong! I'm having a problem with my Macintosh SE that I hope has a cure: It has had a screen jitter almost since the day I bought it. System Configuration: Apple Macintosh SE 2.5 MB RAM (Apple Upgrade, done with analog board replacement, see below) Internal HD20 Internal 800K floppy Extended Keyboard The machine was purchased in August of 1987, and the jitter grew steadily worse, until the analog board was replaced under extended warranty in December 1987. That fixed the problem for a short time, but it has recurred, and seems to be getting worse again! The whole screen jitters, but the major disturbance seems to be confined to the lower left quadrant. If this is an interaction between the fan/video or the hard disk/video, is there a fix for it??? Is there any fix for it?? I find this problem EXTREMELY annoying. Help save my Mac! I really do like it except for the screen shake. Thanks in advance, Rich Long
