Segawa) Organization: U. of Hawaii, Manoa (Honolulu) Lines: 6 The fact that touching the metal shielding sometimes affects whether or not the machine crashes, makes me wonder if you're missing the paper that fits under the motherboard and acts as insulation, and whether your earth ground connection is OK. If that checks out OK, try and get the thing repaired or replaced under warranty. I've been using a II for the past 5 months, and have never encountered such a problem.
