This is fine, but this means I am still stuck. I got *one* hint about where to find the lightning rod, (actually, I got it from two people) from some friendly people, and managed to get further than before. Here is what I have... The Bladed Sun, The Silver Orb, The Platinum Horn, the sharp thing you get in the werewolf room (Golden Thorn?), and the wand thing you get from the lightning rod. The problem seems to be that without the Staff of Ages, I seem unable to vanquish the foe. I'm sure I could banish with my round thing, but I'm not sure exactly what I should banish. BTW, I *did* manage to use the bladed sun and the horn to get to the Behemoth and the Warlock, but I don't have all the stuff to finish the game. To summarize my incoherent ramblings, I need to either find or put together the Staff of Ages, and I haven't a clue.
