I don't think this is correct. Although BinHex 5.0 is indeed for Macbinary files, it is also backwardly compatible in _decoding_ files produced with BinHex 4.0. Thus, if you have gotten a file from this system and you want to convert it to an application, you can use either BinHex 4.0 or BinHex 5.0 to accomplish this, even though the file header reads that BinHex 4.0 is to be used.
