I have successfully used FullWrite (WITHOUT the "doohickeys", i.e., dictionary, thesaurus) on my 1M Mac Plus by putting a stripped down system and my documents onto a 400k external drive and FW on my internal 800k drive. Of course, you can't write MUCH this way, but you can play around up to about 60k. I have done the same with HyperCard, less even the 400k external drive, though again not without restrictions. On the other hand, I just ordered a 30M RLL-encoded drive from Cutting Edge ... Fritz Ruehr (kfr@zippy.eecs.umich.edu) My employer disclaims me.
