A friend of mine is buying a macintosh, and would like some
recommendations on software packages, especially word
processors.  She wants something reasonably powerful (e.g. a
built-in spell checker, etc.) and without a whole lot of bugs.
I'm interested in collecting both positive and negative
recommendations.
