I've used the RasterOps 24 bit board, which provides a very nice, crisp display but at this point is quite slow (about three times slower than an 8 bit display). Apparently, the people at RasterOps are working on making their software faster. One nice feature: existing programs that conform to the Apple guidelines draw just fine on this board.
