A friend of mine is trying to figure out the status
of NeWS or X on his sgi 3000 series workstations.
Apparently, SGI announced a NeWS based product for
their new RISC machine, but has failed to mention
anything about that product for their older
workstations.  

1) Does anyone know if sgi plans on releasing the NeWS 
   product for the 3000 series?
2) Has anyone ported X to the SGI 3000 series?
