Obviously, a serious $ outlay for hardware (Host adapter, tape drive) and software (Extended Core upgrade, Host adapter utilities, tape utilities), but well worth it when you consider that you don't have to format the tape before using it, and the speed is phenomenal (esp when compared to the standard 3B2/400 internal ESDI 23M tape drive).
