EROFF works either with soft fonts or with font cartridges. It has been very reliable. There were a couple of occasions when I called Elan for support. Their support was always fast and accurate. The packages do what they advertise. I have not found any limitation on the number of pages allowed for a single document. The largest document I have produced with EROFF has been in the order of 100 pages plus tables of contents, tables of figures, and tables of equations. EROFF runs equally well on the Laserjet+ and on the Laserjet II. We have used the bit-mapped mode to produce pictures of raster dumps from HP9000 systems and from Macintosh systems. The results have been completely satisfactory. ---------------- Jim Rogers at Hewlett Packard Industrial Applications Center
