yea, this sounds like what I'm doing. I don't use smail, or 'smarthost'. I 
think I will look into that. What exactly is smail? is that a seperate (PD?)
program? anyway, I would like to use the usr@system syntax, and perhaps that's
what I need to do. thanks...
