Natick, MA Lines: 17 Keywords: vi, tab To all the 'vi' expert out there(I hope this is the right group!) Is there a way to force 'vi' editor to insert appropreiate number of spaces when key is hit? That is, instead of inserting the actual , n number of spaces are inserted. I know there are filter/program that will get rid of tabs, but that's not what I wnat. I simply want to create files without tabs in it(but with the convenience of the key. If it is a dumb question, ie everybody knows the answer except me, mail the answer/solution to me, otherwise post the answer/solution. Thanks in advance. Kelvin Lam (...!necntc!gordon!kelvin)
