A teaser indeed!  In the Nov.-Dec. 1987 issue of ;login: (the USENIX
Association newsletter, if you didn't know), John Quarterman, in a 
book review, references this book:

"The Design and Implementation of the 4.3BSD UNIX Operating System"

Authors are (I'm pretty sure; I'm doing this from memory):
	Sam Leffler
	Mike Karels
	Kirk McKusick
	John Quarterman

The book is (going to be) published by Addison-Wesley, and was dated 1988
in the reference.

I sent mail to John asking for some details, but he hasn't replied yet.
