Anyone have any success getting nethack up on xenix 286?  I've
about given up due to oddness with ld - the object code *changes*!!!
after linking the executable compared to the assembly output!!!
This is dev sys 2.1.4 update g under 2.2.1 os.  The obvious symptoms
are in ini_inv() (in u_int.c) playing as 'W', setting the oc_name_known
flag for the magic item (around line 485) causes a coredump due to bizzare
pointer math.  If this code is getting clobbered, there's probably
other problems also.  What's going on with the loader?  btw, I have
moria working on xenix.  If anyone's interested, write.
