let's not get unduely exited over what has (so far) only been a minor,
occasional annoyance.  I, for one, am not in favor of increased "law and
order" unless it is REALLY needed - as it often turns into a self-imposed
straight-jacket.

The control-message creating the unauthorized ..mac.programmers group was
no more than an annoyance and, certainly, counterproductive (if the originator
ever meant them to be anything but a venting of accumulated frustration - which
I, personally, doubt) and certainly was easily brought under control.

and, as far as those claims and counterclaims from Mark and Matt are concerned,
who can (or cares to) distinguish the "real" from the "fake" ??!!

let's worry about *REAL* problems ....
