I am using PROCOMM on two IBM machines, an XT and a Model 25 with two different modems, Hayes and Practical Peripherals. It seems that when logged into BIONET, if I type too quickly, garbage characters are included in the echo back to the screen. This makes entering sequence information fairly difficult. It must be a local problem, as the garbage characters do not affect program execution. This problem does not occur if I use Smartcom II (but who wants to use that anyway?). Thanks for any help.
