I posted a patch for the elm 1.7 source recently. It corrected an error
where a reference was made to header_table[current-1], with current = 0.
But I just noted that this error is actually made at several places in
the source, requiring a more extensive patching. I will post the diffs
as soon as I find all of the places where a change is needed.

I'm surprised by the fact that this programming error does not lead to
crashes on many systems (only 286 systems seem to be effected).
