On our system we have an automatic purge of files that is activated when the user logs out. The default for the system is have logout run sys$manager:sylogout.com, which purges the files. Now then, if a user on our system types logoasdf, that gets them off right now. Could it be that your system manager has done something similar? You can tell real fast by the following command: $ SHOW SYMBOL/ALL LOGOUT If anything shows up here, that is the problem. I hope that this helps some. -- bitnet: losh@nmt.csnet M.
