Although it is possible to include termtable information for non-ansi
terminals, all DEC software does not use this interface.  For instance,
edt is hard-wired to ansi, dcl doesn't use termtable to update the
command line editor.  Mail does use the information to clear the terminal
screen.

Does anyone know if DEC will use termtable/smgterm interface in edt/tpu
and other programs in the future?

Does anyone have a tested version of the termtable entry for the wyse50?
