The load on the laserwriter is increasing rapidly such that we are using a toner cartridge (~3800 sheets) in 5-10 days. I am looking for recommendations on a more heavy duty postscript laser printer that would use the same software on the SUN. Something that can take 500 or more sheets of paper at a time rather than 100, run at 20-30 pages/minute rather than 8, and print a lot more sheets between toner fillups. We also have a lot of hangups where the laserwriter stops printing and the lpd deamon has to be killed/restarted so any views on this problem, especially on whether the problem lies with transcript or the laserwriter itself would be usefull. Please mail me and I will summarise to the net. Thanks in advance. -- | Adrian Cockcroft anc@camcon.uucp ..!seismo!mcvax!ukc!camcon!anc -[T]- Cambridge Consultants Ltd, Science Park, Cambridge CB4 4DW, | England, UK (0223) 358855 (You are in a maze of twisty little C004's, all alike...)
