I would ideally like to get both the mail and the news facilities running, but realize that the project I am talking about is very large, and will have to be done in stages. Therefore to get things started, I would like to find out exactly how uucp sends things between machines. PICK is not at all like UNIX, and does not support the C language. With that in mind, I need to know exactly what protocols are used, what files look like (headers, etc). I already have a listing of some uucp clones, but these are written in C, and therefore need to be completely redone for my purposes. If anyone knows either where I can find the protocols, or better still of someone who has done this before on a non-unix machine (ie not in C), I would appreciate them sending me a buzz at: ..![ihnp4, ubc-vision]!alberta!lyndon This is a group account, so please put attention of Nick Pemberton somewhere in your response!
