The version from Illinois that I have supports only 3Com 3C501, Micom NI5210, and UB NIC. My most imediate need is for NI5010 support. For the average inexperienced user (my typical faculty customer), NCSA Telnet seems to be the "right" tcp/ip package. The price is right, the functionality is adequate, and the user interface is excellent. Unfortunately, it doesn't support enough hardware combinations yet.
