There is one bug here; one line seems to have been lost somewhere.
I don't think it will link as posted.  Anyway, the missing line is

static void Punt(str)

It should be inserted just before the first line that says

char *str;

(By the way, I'm slightly distressed that this has apparently been
sitting on Rich Salz's desk for a month now.  I had noted the display,
but I had thought it was because Crispin Goswell was in the process of
making major enhancements.  It's not great code, but I know people
could have used it earlier.  Next time, maybe I'll just post things
directly.)
