I know others have posted such requests in the past, now it is my turn.

I have the ray tracer that was posted to the net and is in the archives.
While it does indeed work, I'd like somthing more versatile and perhaps faster.
I would also like any pointers to sources I could study for doing
my own implementation/modifications.
