   Has anyone come across a c program to calculate
   amortization tables, interest paid, amount owed, etc for 
   mortgages, car loans, etc.

   Specifically, 

   It would be nice if it could take as input:

   1. Interest on loan (ie. 10.5 percent)
   2. Length of loan   (ie. 30 years)
   3. Amount of loan   (ie. 75000 dollars)

   and return as output:

   a summary:
   1. total due each month
   2. Total amount of interest acrued at end of loan.

   a table:
   1: month, year, etc
   2: amount left, amount paid so far, and so on.
