I'm looking for an integer implementation of a 1-dimensional
complex FFT algorithm.  In the data representation I am talking
about, the entire integer is used for the mantissa, and the exponent
field is shared by the whole array.

Typically, these used to be written in native assembler codes for
peak speeds.  Of course, if you have such a beastie for VAXen, this
would be best, but high-level language routines are ok too.

I'm running VMS, but this shouldn't really matter.
