I'm looking for a version of ARC which will run on Sun workstations.  So
far, every version I've tried extracts correctly, but when attempting to
create or modify files, they all core dump.  ("Brain fried").  I've waded
through some of the code, but never had a chance to fully track down the
problem.  If anyone has an ARC running on a Sun (we're using 3/50s),
please let me know..  (we had the same problems on our Gould 9080 running
UTX 2.0, but some creative coding (which doesn't work on the Suns) got it
running there..)
