Somewhere around is a version that uses TERMCAP and Network connections
to have a trully distributed game.  Search used to open up your terminal
and write to it with a bunch of terminal specific code.  I'll see if
I can dig it up.  We did it at BRL to demonstrate the effectiveness of
distributed communications in battlefield management.
