The most serious in my opinion is the terrible performance penalty I have to pay anytime I run net.amiga. It appears that approximately 80% of my Ami's time is being spent servicing the tcp software, leaving very little to other tasks. On a multitasking system this is ridiculous. Before I start hacking away trying to improve things is anyone else working on this? I have heard mention of a telnet.dev, should I wait for it or what? (It does seem logical to make a device) Email to me at the address in my .signature. I don't think my Ami is in the site maps yet. P.S. This is my first direct posting to a newsgroup since I started getting a direct newsfeed. I hope it works 8-) -- Ken Koster (N7IPB) algedi!kenk@pilchuck.Data-IO.COM or 12653 NE 95th ...uunet!pilchuck!algedi!kenk or Kirkland,Wa 98033 ...uw-beaver!tikal!pilchuck!algedi!kenk Mine all Mine.
