Word of my complaints about Bare Boards got back to them and they gave me a call regarding my order. They felt I was unfair in my complaining and offered me a refund, which I declined. They do not want to do business with complainers or the impatient. Regarding my complaints: 1.They no longer plan to advertise in Robo City News or other "national" magazines. The price increase was due to long lead time. They will use only "word of mouth" advertising. 2.They will try to send my board out this week. 3.They are answering their phone, but necessarily must put on the answering machine occasionally in order to get work done. I regret that I didn't try contact them more directly before suggesting they weren't answering their phone. The fact that they tracked me down says something for their good intentions and perhaps also for the power of usenet. -Rich Leyden UUCP: {hplabs!hp-sdd!crash, cadovax}!gryphon!pnet02!rleyden INET: rleyden@pnet02.cts.com
