Message-ID: <620@geowhiz.UUCP> Date: 28 Jan 88 22:41:00 GMT Distribution: na Organization: UW Madison, Geology Dept. Lines: 21 I have a 3.5" drive on my Apple //gs. One of my disks now make a faint ticking noise when it spins. I also can not read any of the files from it. My system disk had the same problem once, but I turn the disk by hand and it work better. I have already tried looking for physical marks on the disk surface and I can not see any. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could there also be something wrong with my drive? Maybe the heads are too far apart? The drive is a standard 3.5" 800K drive. The same as on a mac.
