I have a European (PAL) //e. I bought an enhancement kit for it in the USA. 
Of the 4 chips in the kit, 3 fitted (65C02, 2 ROMs), but the character generator ROM does not fit (It has the incorrect number of legs).

I wrote Apple a few months ago, and got no response

Does anyone know how I can solve my problem??
