Sci. Lines: 14 Keywords: Reset Appleworks When using Super Macroworks (NOT the timeout version), about 10% of the time, reset will not bring you back tot he menu, but land you in the monitor. If this happens, try: typing '31BG' and hit return. If that doesnt work, the system has taken some major clobbering, and you probably won't get back in. (There is a long, and excruciating way of digging your way back in.. see back issues of _Open Apple_ for it) No matter which way you get in after a Reset, appleworks should be treated as 'untrustworthy' and you should save your files and reboot, ASAP. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Larry Nathanson|lan @ bucsb.UUCP :-) |The opinions in this article are not 700 Comnwlth Av.|lan @ bucsf.UUCP (-: |mine, they are those of Jimmy the Boston, MA 02215|engnyuc@bostonu.BITNET |Greek... so you can send all flaming Apt. # 1305C | |to CBS!
