I just recently purchased a copy of copy II plus ver 8.2.  Since then I have 
copies of every GS program that I have purchased with no problems.
Here are some of the ones that I have copied successfully:

Thexder
Paintworks Plus
Space Quest
Instant Music

An interesting feature of the program is that is comes with parameter files
that tell the program what special steps to take when coping certain programs.
The package comes with the parameter files for most of the popular GS software.
